Tall, somewhat narrow windows lined the two-storey edifice with a single solitary mahogany door breaking the monotony somewhat. A peaked dark slate roof crowned the T-shaped building with a square tower at a back corner easily gracing the top. Several wide steps lead from the front door to a paved walkway lining the turn-around end of the long drive. The tree-lined drive sloped down the gentle hill to a gate.
